The Sticks & Stones Project! Join in!!

Okay, I know I said I was going to do the water post next, but I'm not quite ready, so here is what I have been up to lately, and I would LOVE it if you joined in on the project and send me photos of what you have done!! I am calling it The Sticks & Stones Project (there are other projects with that name, but here is ours): It's so simple- 
1). Collect small stones and sticks.
2). Write the three most powerful words in the world on them: "I LOVE YOU", and 
3). Distribute them in your neighbourhood, on buses, on driveways, in phone booths, in bicycle baskets, restaurants or anywhere you feel would be good. Hand one to a stranger, even :)

It feels so cool! I would love to find a stone or stick that had that written on it. Words can be hurtful sometimes (we all know that), but they can also save a person's life. Make someone's day.

Evolving Through Our Actions:

Good morning!
Just a quick note to remind ourselves that we evolve through every action, every spoken word, every thought we have. So what does this mean? I was told yesterday by a friend, that I bring her up whenever we are in a room together. She says some people drain her and bring her down, but that whenever she talks to me she feels energized and amazing. We literally change the outcome of our day by looking on the bright side of everything. 

How will you change your day today?? Create a positive atmosphere by staying out of gossip, treating yourself with kindness, thinking of the things we are grateful for and eating really uplifting foods.

Why You Were Born:

I'd like to start off by saying sorry for being ghostly over the past while. I have been questioning everything in my life, and wondering what I'm really supposed to be doing (as usual). What is this whole thing I do? This vegan blog / site has all of me poured into it because I want three things: 

1. For all of us to wake up and realize that when we do harm to animals, people and Earth we can never have peace inside of ourselves. 
2. For me to connect in some small way to souls all over the world who may be going through their own struggles and joys, as I do. 
3. For finding meaning in my life- my true purpose. The ever dramatic question that I ask myself every single day. 

What the hell are we all doing here? Is it about money? Power? Sex? Ego? Love? Many people will say there is no reason for existence, and that it's all an accident. Well I guess you can click on another website if this is you, because I am too airy-fairy for your liking. I am not religiously connected in any way, but I do feel a higher power all around me, in me. 

The whole vegan thing is kind of a no-brainer, in my opinion. I have been meat-free for 25 years now, and I really just eat good food at this point- I barely have anything more to say about it... Go vegan. You will be healthier, happier, and something else may happen- you will become a different person- moreover, you will become who you truly are meant to be. One of two things happens:

1. You become vegan and have a spiritual awakening.
or
2. You have a spiritual awakening, which makes you realize you need to become vegan.

I have never been the type of activist who shocks people into changing by putting up horrific images of animals being tortured and slaughtered. For some people that works, but for me to continuously look at those photos for all these years... well, it destroys me. I look away. Instead I just be me. I give it my best with words, and a nice looking site with recipes and lots of info. And I say what I feel. 

You are why I keep going. You are the same as me. You are looking for answers, but the answers have always been inside, not out. 

So... Over the next while I will be exploring the energetic side of of us. Those who don't want to hear it will just tune out, but hopefully the rest of us can all do some experiments together involving mass consciousness and listening to our higher selves :)

I have been doing a lot of meditation lately, and I think my audience is ready for higher levels of conversation around that topic. In fact, I feel like things are moving in that direction all around me. There is so much synchronicity everywhere that we don't notice when we are closed off and ignoring our inner voice. 

My new goal is to help both of us to open up more, so we can see the magic again and discover our reason for being born.  

Did you know that our brains process 400 Billion bits of information per second, but that we only are aware of 2,000 of it! That leaves room for a wack-ton of synchronicity. What is there that we are NOT seeing? Let's think about that for a while...
