I was always afraid of the ocean at the same time because, unfortunately, I was shown the movie "JAWS" at a very young age (for some reason it was played on a big screen at my school when I was 7)... Well I went snorkeling with James for the first time in my life in Bequia, and it changed me forever!
The most incredible thing happened- I was suddenly in the presence of 18 cuttlefish who played with me for an hour and a half!!! They are highly intelligent and such incredibly beautiful creatures. Their eyes are much better than ours, they have large brains. They are known for disguising themselves as many different types of animals! Watch this crazy video:
Their skin changes colour and pattern in a split second, they also flash lights! I had my arms outstretched and one by one they came up to me! They were not feeding or swimming around- just staring at me in a straight row for an hour and a half. It was one of the best experiences of my life.
Now I am dreaming even bigger- I want to swim with whales. We will see what the fates have in store :)) I want you to dream big too! Have a great night everyone!
